Cub Scouts end of the year activities

David completed the highest rank of cub scout-Arrow of Light in June 2019, followed by the annual Court of Honor camping trip held at Camp Sayre.

David graduates 5th grade

The 5th grade classes had a "Moving Up" ceremony to mark the end of elementary school and entry into middle school (6-8th grades).  They sang some songs (look for David at 1:25 of "High Hopes" song) and then they called out their names.

Kung Fu belt tests

Here are the kids at their most recent belt tests.  Maddy was awarded blue belt, and David was awarded red belt.

2019 Pinewood derby

Both kids competed in the annual pinewood derby at cub scouts. And for the 3rd year (out of the past 4) David went to the finals where he (alas) did not win.
