Halloween parade at school

All the kids and teachers at David's school have a parade around the block in costume on the day of Halloween.  Look closely for David in his Iron Man costume (next to the orange crayon, his teacher Mrs. Dowd).

This picture was taken at Laurent's company which has a party for the kids each year.  David dressed up as Iron Man, while Maddy wore her well-loved Tigger costume again.  I'm not sure that she will be able to wear it again next year;-).

Maddy's animal parade

It seems that Maddy has figured out how to remove the child-proof door knob cover and wander outside of her room at night.  We awoke to find this in the hall the other morning...

Maddy at the Dentist

Here is Maddy's first "official" visit at age 3.  She sat on the chair all by herself and enjoyed talking to the dentist about her teeth.

End of an era: See how they've grown: 2012

This one of the last times that the kids will use the double stroller, which is now parked in the basement for now (most likely on its way to friends or a yard sale).  David wants to keep it so Maddy can sit in the bigger side "when she's 4 years old like me"!

Labor Day in NJ

We went to NJ to celebrate Labor Day and the kids's 3rd and 5th birthdays.  We went to the kid's museum and Aquarium too!

Chocolate for everyone!

Tonight we had dinner around Harvard Sq and finished at Finale, a restaurant specialized in dessert, where we ordered their specialty molten chocolate cake.

You will notice Maddie's innate ability to spread chocolate on her face no matter how small the amount she eats. She must get that from her paternal grandmother.

First haircut for Madeleine

Madeleine today had her first haircut. See the comparison between picture #1 (before) and #2 (after). While we were there, David also got a haircut (I'll let you guess which picture)

Rough world

Someone had a tough time getting up from his nap today. My heart bleeds for him. Well, not really.
